Effort to roll back 1099 paperwork mandate moving ahead

With the Senate’s passage of the repeal measure with strong bipartisan support, hopes for House approval are running high. An association-backed legislative repeal of the new tax Form 1099 paperwork requirement is now moving through Congress, and hopes for the measure ultimately becoming law are high.
